CommerceQuest South Africa makes it three in a row
CommerceQuest South Africa made it three in a row by scooping the IBM Business Partner Award for Top Sales Performer by IBM in the category of Best Software Growth Sales Performer in SA for 2002.
CommerceQuest SA collected a Top Performer Award in 2000 and an IBM Top Contributor Award in 2001, making this award three in a row.
The prize was announced at the IBM gala dinner for business partners held at Caesar's Palace on Friday night. Alex Steyn, Managing Director of CommerceQuest SA, collected the award from Mark Harris, Country General Manager IBM South Africa, and Johnny Gounden, Channel Executive: IBM South and Central Africa.
CommerceQuest SA is a leading IBM business partner focusing its skills on enterprise application integration with the IBM WebSphere family of products.
"Since 1997, CommerceQuest SA has steadily grown our sales and skills offering around the WebSphere MQ and more recently, IBM's DB2 database product sets. We are now generally recognised as a top IBM MQ business partner in SA," says Steyn. "By working in this niche area, it has allowed us to excel in supplying software and services to the ever-increasing IBM customer base, which allowed us to increase our IBM sales growth substantially during 2002."
