[Johannesburg, 29 October 2007] - BULA Holdings, a black empowered solutions provider in the ICT sector, today announced the acquisition of a majority ownership of CommerceQuest SA (Pty) Ltd.
Integration specialist CommerceQuest SA has been in operation since 1997 and provides IT systems integration and middleware solutions, specialising in the IBM software solution space.
“BULA has always invested in the opportunity of adding depth to our solutions, services and infrastructure business. We identified a definite synergy between the BULA and CommerceQuest SA businesses. Previously clients could only get a total solution by engaging with various partners. With this acquisition we add the integration and middleware solution, placing us in an extremely favourable position as we offer an end-to-end solution, subsequently securing a larger portion of the value chain,” says Richard Isaacs, CEO BULA Holdings.
Alex Steyn, managing director for CommerceQuest SA says, “The acquisition enables us and the BULA group of companies to capture more of the opportunities within our targeted industries. We are now able to add to the skills set and provide a wrap around service across all industry sectors.”
CommerceQuest SA has implemented and managed small to large integration projects in banking, insurance, retail, distribution, manufacturing, chemicals and oil industries.
